Prototyping
Working prototypes and pre-production builds, made from verified CAD before you commit to tooling.

- You send
- Verified CAD data, or a design for us to model, and what the prototype needs to prove
- You get back
- Parts made by additive or subtractive methods to suit the material and purpose, finished and assembled where needed
What we make
Each prototype is made by the method that suits its material, geometry and purpose.
- Functional prototypes for mechanical testing and assembly checks
- Presentation models for reviews, exhibitions and launches
- Low-volume pre-production builds to prove the manufacturing method and assembly sequence
- Tooling, jigs and fixtures
Materials
Polymers, resins, composites and metals including aluminium and stainless steel, chosen for strength, weight or appearance.
Checked before it leaves
Every prototype is made from verified CAD data and checked against key dimensions and design intent, with surface finishing, coatings and assembly where it needs to look or work like the production part.
Questions we are often asked
How do you check the quality of a prototype?
Every prototype is made from verified CAD data and inspected against key dimensions and design intent, with measurement and visual checks on geometry, fit and finish before delivery.
What materials can you use?
Polymers, composites and metals including aluminium and stainless steel, chosen for strength, weight or appearance.
Can you make working assemblies?
Yes. We regularly build working prototypes with moving parts, seals and mechanical interfaces for realistic testing.
Do you offer low-volume production?
Yes. Once a prototype is proven, parts can move into short runs using the same CAD and process data.
