Manufacturing drawings
Drawing packs your suppliers can quote and make from, to BS and ISO standards or your own.
- You send
- Your 3D models, or a part or design for us to model first, and your drawing standard if you have one
- You get back
- Drawing sets in DWG and PDF with GD&T, surface finishes, bills of materials and revision control
Everything the supplier needs
A drawing should tell a supplier everything needed to price and make the part. We put tight tolerances and fine finishes only where the part’s function needs them, because each one adds cost.
Sheet metal, weldments and assemblies
Flat patterns and bend details for laser-cut and folded parts, weld symbols and cut lists for fabrications, and assembly drawings with balloons and parts lists for planning production.
Design for manufacture and assembly
Before drawings are released we look at each part with its process in mind, and suggest changes that make it cheaper or easier to make and assemble.
What we draw
- Machined parts
- Sheet metal and laser-cut parts
- Weldments and fabrications
- Assemblies with bills of materials
- Revisions to existing drawing packs
Questions we are often asked
Which standards do you work to?
BS and ISO drawing standards, or your company standard where you have one.
Can you draw from our 3D models?
Yes. We produce drawings from your models in Inventor, SolidWorks or STEP, or model the part first if there is no CAD yet.
Can you update our existing drawings?
Yes. We revise existing drawings under revision control, and can convert paper or scanned drawings to CAD first.
Which formats do you supply?
DWG, DXF and PDF, and native drawing files where you use the same CAD system.
