Redrawn by engineers
Every line, note and dimension is recreated by an engineer in professional CAD software, with no automatic vector conversion, so the result behaves like a drawing that was made in CAD from the start.
Unclear features are checked against reference parts or legacy data where you have them, and we point out anything the original drawing leaves unsettled.
To your standard
We apply your company’s drawing standard, or F-CAD® templates where none is set. Each drawing is checked for scale, alignment and dimensional accuracy, and layers, annotation styles and title blocks are made consistent across the set.
From 2D to 3D
Converted drawings can be taken on into parametric 3D models, ready for analysis, rendering or manufacture, without going back to the paper.

Can you convert hand-drawn or marked-up drawings?
Yes. We convert hand-drawn, scanned and marked-up drawings into editable CAD, checking geometry, scale and key dimensions to keep the original design intent.
Which file formats will we receive?
Usually DWG, DXF and PDF, with layers, annotations and title blocks to your standard. We can also supply STEP or native Inventor and SolidWorks files, including 3D models.
How is the work priced?
By the complexity, clarity and number of drawings. Simple drawings are quick to convert, while detailed assemblies or poor scans take more interpretation.
Can you work to our drawing standard?
Yes. We use your standard and templates where you have them, and F-CAD® templates where you don’t.
